About Warren
I was first exposed to martial arts at a very early age, following in the footsteps of my father and training with Paul Whitrod Sifu at the age of nine. I dabbled for a couple of years here and there but left to devote more time to my studies.
Physically sick of living unhealthily during my university and early working years, I returned to regular Kung-Fu training. At around the same time I became very interested in fitness and performance enhancement. I began filling the gaps in my knowledge, devoting all my free time to absorbing training related material. I now hold a Degree in Chow Gar Southern Praying Mantis Kung Fu (Instructor), and am a YMCA Certified Fitness Instructor (Level 2).
Dedicated to continual improvement, I never stop learning and test myself regularly. Having participated in pole fighting tournaments and weightlifting meets, I believe regular competition is a great way to keep yourself sharp and put what you've learned into practice. Ever the student despite now being the teacher, I am a lifetime member of Paul Whitrod Sifu’s Traditional Martial Arts Academy, as well as a regular at the Bethnal Green Weightlifting Club. I am currently studying for my YMCA Level 3.
I was once a physical mess, barely able to turn my head due to poor posture, pain and stress. MantisFit exists so that I can share what I’ve learned and help you achieve the best shape of your life – and feel good doing it too.
